• Magnificent Bastard: Russell Stevens is a Los Angeles police officer who is recruited by the DEA to infiltrate the Gallegos Cartel by going undercover as a drug dealer. Russell finds that the criminal lifestyle suits him well, eventually being forced to sell drugs for real and kill a rival dealer to protect his progress. Russell forges an alliance with mob lawyer David Jason and agrees to strike out on their own with a new synthetic drug, before going rogue when David and his boss Felix Barbossa have a falling out, allowing David to murder Barbossa. Russell is able to set up a meeting with the cartel's ultimate leader Hector Guzman after killing even Gallegos, implicating the well-connected diplomat as a major drug trafficker and disposing of David after playing him like a fiddle. Russell is able to protect his associates from any prosecution while still embarassing his former bosses, and walks away with millions in stolen drug money.
