- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: Lampshaded. If you try to mix and match fruits in Level 10, one of the many things that can happen is a big-lipped alligator appearing out of Chuchel's mouth.
- Unfortunate Character Design: Chuchel's original color palette, being a black furball with orange lips, ended up resembling a blackface cartoon and was later changed to have the colors shuffled so he has an orange body with lighter yellow lips and a black hat. Same goes for the giant Chuchel creature and the evil Chuchel, who were switched to green. The former also turns orange after he turns good.
