• Not So Crazy Anymore: With many fast food chains now serving vegan meals, the idea of a burger joint serving burgers that aren't actually meat feels quite prophetic (except for the part with the beef fat, anyway).
• Retroactive Recognition: Holy crap, Chief Vick worked for Double Meat Palace for five years!
• Spiritual Successor: The idea of weird things going on in a fast food restaurant could have easily been an episode of The X-Files.
