YMMV / Boy Girl Dog Cat Mouse Cheese

• Tainted by the Preview: The name alone likely scared away a few potential viewers due to its similarity to the oft-maligned Pig Goat Banana Cricket.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: We're meant to feel sorry for Girl whenever Lila Bird starts mocking and antagonising her. But the fact that Girl mocks and taunts her own siblings on a far more regular basis, as she herself recognizes, makes it seem more like she's getting a much-needed taste of her own medicine - and learning nothing from it.
  "She's making fun of me just like I make fun of Boy. That is so mean!"
• The Woobie:
  • Boy gets it really rough throughout the show, with how much he gets the short end of the stick and how some of his own siblings make fun of him a lot. Given how nice and helpful he usually is, plus with his sensitive, emotional personality, one can't help but feel sorry for Boy every time something bad happens to him.
  • Dog seems to get hit with Break the Cutie quite a bit, especially in episodes like "Cat Walker", "Dog Unleashed", "We Could Be Heroes" and the part where Boy reduced him to tears in "Game Of Throne". He's generally the sweetest and most sensitive of the main cast so whenever you see him get hurt or tear up, you'll likely want to hug him and tell him that he's a good boy.
