- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The special is chock full of them. If we gave a list, we'd be here all day. However a few stand out from the rest:
- The "Spook-Easy" segments, set in a parody of the Star Wars cantina.
- This includes a BLAM within a BLAM: Near the end of the first segment, a large hairy alien approaches the bartender and asks for the telephone, which the bartender hands him. He then asks for mustard. The bartender puts a large bowl of mustard (that he must have been keeping under the bar just in case a moment like this ever arose, or else he gets requests like this all the time) on the bar. The alien takes the receiver of the phone, dips it in the mustard, and eats it.
- The Monks segments, where four monks enter into a garden singing fake Gregorian Chant, only to have one played by Rip Taylor start acting goofy (such as lifting his habit to reveal he's drawn smiley faces on his knees while he sings the theme from Hello, Dolly!). And, cut to the next sketch with no explanation on just what their point was.
- The "Spook-Easy" segments, set in a parody of the Star Wars cantina.
- Crosses the Line Twice: It's hard to say any of the jokes in this special are actually funny (as they are all either ones that were old and overused long before Yoda was in Pampers or are dated references guaranteed to go over the heads of anyone under the age of 35-40), but this one would likely qualify if it weren't just plain dumb:
- Unintentional Period Piece: This line from Doctor Frankenstein defending himself against an angry mob shows the special's age wonderfully(?):Doctor Frankenstein: shouts FOR THE LAST TIME, I DID NOT CREATE HOWARD COSELL!!! note
