YMMV / Black★★Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall

• Like You Would Really Do It: Did you really think Empress, Dead Master, and Strength would kick the bucket in the finale?
• Moe: Empress, despite mostly being The Stoic, is absolutely gentle.
• Special Effects Failure: While nowhere near the level of other recent messes, the CGI leaves a lot to be desired. With stiff posing and animation and particle effects that don't blend at all with the Cel Shaded character and vehicle models. This is especially glaring given that the quality of the CGI was one of the 2012 anime's highpoints.
• They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Fans of the 2009 and 2012 animes dislike this show for not continuing the anime's story and instead having a plot similar to the game, as well as for changing Black Rock Shooter, Dead Master, and Strength's designs. And fans of the game dislike it for changing the antagonist from aliens to a human-created AI.
