- Like You Would Really Do It: Averted in the Season 1 finale: A rival coach uses a loophole in the rules forcing Bella off the team because she's a girl. The high school football board actually agrees to fix this for her, but unfortunately the new rule cannot take into effect until 30 days, well after the championship game. The Bulldogs then threaten to forfeit the championship game in protest. Despite Bella's protests, they end up following through and the rival team is officially declared the champions without the game even being played.
