• Awesome Animation: During virutally every action sequence seen in the show.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Aside from the main trio (Gaz, Ace, and Baby Ball), Duleena Duneeda is by far away the most popular Lepton for obvious reasons. Taken up to 11 with the vampire episode due to her being a badass vampire slayer.
• Fridge Brilliance: Why is Chimpendale, of the Roki Men, a human when his teammates are all various species of apes? Probably because humans are technically a kind of ape too!
• Genius Bonus:
  • The main characters' team, The Leptons, has a double meaning with its name. It can refer to either an elementary particle that doesn't undergo strong interactions (much like how the team itself doesn't connect very well) or to the lowest denomination of Greek currency (to represent how they're the weakest team in The Game).
  • Flip Champion’s technique Umbillicus is, in fact the scientific name for the belly button.
• Heartwarming Moments
  • During the season two premiere, none of the Leptons dismiss Ace's notion of seeing them as his family.
  • The first thing Baby Ball wants to do upon showing his body to his teammates? Give them hugs.
  • Gaz genuinelly being concerned that Ace might follow in her footsteps in having a downfall after peaking as a player.
  • The season two finale shows just how much of a family the Leptons have become.
    • While Gaz is disappointed she wasn't nominated MVP, when Ace and Baby Ball accept the award, Ace proudly thanks Gaz as his hero for making everything happen. Gaz is so touched she looks like she's about to cry.
    • Gaz leaves the Leptons and goes back home to her rich family to stop her dad from destroying the Leptons by breaking up the team and shuffling them off to different groups. However, six months later she eagerly watches their first match during the new season from home and cheers everyone on.
    • Even though six months have passed. The Leptons fondly remember and still miss Gaz. Baby Ball even proudly states that their first goal of the new season would be in honor of her.
    • When all Hell breaks loose and the Earth is attacked by an alien armada, Gaz immediately tries to get to the Leptons to help them. When her dad accuses her of turning her back on her family, Gaz proudly screams "The Leptons ARE my family!"
• The Woobie: Ace. He has no real friends outside the team, he's a total Butt-Monkey, his hero is a massive Jerkass, came from an orphanage, and has never won a single game. The season finale changes that.
