- Fridge Brilliance: In Chapter 42, the Act 2 finale, Darcy agrees to Belos' demand of handing over one of the Calamity Gems as part of their deal; they give him the green gem, which is associated with Wit. This alludes to how the two Big Bads tend to be strategic and see themselves as far more intelligent than others, but Belos shows in that moment that he outsmarted the abomination.
- Fridge Horror: In the penultimate chapter of Act 2, Boscha willingly allows herself to be branded with a coven sigil for the sake of getting her revenge on her former friends. This means she's susceptible to the Draining Spell now...
- Hilarious in Hindsight: In "Chapter 20: Ghosts, Part 2", Luz speaks to the piece of the Titan's spirit in Amphibia, and it grants her their power to defeat Belos which makes her half-Titan but makes them lose its life. This exact same thing happens in The Owl House finale, "Watching and Dreaming".
