• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • "Oaken Fist" Kowalik possesses the Paramecia Wood-Wood Fruit that functions like the Wax-Wax Fruit, generating large amounts of wooden constructs. In One Piece, Admiral Ryokugyu is revealed to have the Wood-Wood Fruit, except it is a Logia.
  • Jack internally stated that Whitebeard is no buccaneer and more of a man who brought stability, safety and prosperity to his territories under his flag. In One Piece canon, there was an actual Buccaneers race with Bartholomew Kuma as the Last of His Kind. It would be seen as Jack correctly guessing that Whitebeard is not a member of the Buccaneers race.
  • Queen Dowager Conney was the mother of Bartholomew Kuma in this story. In canon, they're not actually related as Kuma's mother died a slave when he and his parents were taken to Mariejois against their will, and Conney acted as a surrogate grandmother to Jewelry Bonney.
• The Scrappy: Pandaman is this as several reviewers are not amused that the author focuses more on Pandaman constantly interfering with Jack Parker and his journey in order to maintain the Stations of the Canon no matter what, detracting the story.
