The Wing and Vanish Boxes will show up.
We already have the Metal Box, so why not complete the trifecta? The Vanish Box would be a perfect replacement for the Cloaking Device, and the effect would no longer be shafted into a Special [whatever word they'll use in SSB4's final title] exclusive (like it was in Brawl). As for the Wing Box, it wouldn't be an implausible item — it would give you the ability to glide, which is currently exclusive to three characters
.- What would it do for the characters who can already glide, then?
- New Wing Box effect: Infinite Jumps
Angry Birds might make an appearance
Yes ... Angry Birds. Maybe they'll work like Mr. Saturn ... here's how they'll work.- Red: Throw it like a regular projectile.
- There's a chance that this bird has feathers revolving around it (like in "Red's Mighty Feathers"). If so, then when thrown it will fly directly at a selected opponent.
- Blue: Throw it and it'll split into three slightly faster yet weaker projectiles.
- Yellow: Throw it and it'll go fast, causing some strong damage.
- Black: Throw it and it'll explode once you press the throw button OR after a few seconds.
- White: Throw it and it'll fly up and drop an explosive egg, doing some meteor damage.
- Green: Throw it and it'll come back to you like a boomerang.
- Big Brother: Heavier than the Red, but it'll cause more damage and knockback.
- Orange: Will throw and work a bit like the Yellow Bird, but will puff a few seconds upon impact, causing a disadvantage with jumping.
- Ice: Will freeze foe upon impact.
- Pink: Will release bubbles that'll also disrupt jumping moves and trap foes in bubbles.
The Beam Sword will not be in a future smash bros game
It had a nice run, but it will be replaced by weapons from the 3DS Kid Icarus game. A club, a cannon and two orbiters. Alternatively, it will be replaced by a beam sword that has actually shown up in a Nintendo game(take your pick).- Maybe the Beam Claws from Uprising?
- The Monado perhaps?
Mega Stones from Pokemon and Smash Balls are related
The Final Smashes for Charizard and Lucario turn them into their Mega Evolution forms, and both are very colorful items. CDs will not return in Super Smash Bros 3DS
A video showed that the stages will only have two songs.- This was half-confirmed. In the 3DS game, CDs are only awarded based on certain challenges, rather than as random pickups, and none of them are new stage themes. Their only use is to be listened to in the sound test menu (though the "Menu 2 (Melee)" CD can also be used as background music for Smash Run). The Wii U game, however, has collectible CDs as in Brawl that add to the selection of stage music.
The Power Glove will become an item.
Because it's so bad. The Zapper will replace the blaster in Smash 6.
