Martin will be the Big Bad of Book 2
Given that Martin said he'll be making big changes to the firm, players think this reeks of a New Era Speech and is a sign of a tyrant taking the helm. Additionally, a sneak peek of Book 2 features a shot of Martin and the main character glaring at each other.

Confirmed. Not only is Martin a tyrannical CEO, he's willing to drag the firm's reputation through the mud, so long as it serves his own interests.

Sadie will return in Book 2
Since Sadie got away with her crimes at the end of Book 1, players believe she'll be back for revenge for her ousting from her own firm.
  • Confirmed that she’ll return but jury’s still out whether she’s going to be seeking revenge or not.
    • She returns in Chapter 9.

Beau and Gigi will become love interests in Book 2
Quinn can improve their relationship with Beau over the course of Book 1 (to the point that he defies his aunt and sides with Quinn in Chapter 16 if their relationship score is high enough), as well as Beau picking Quinn to "marry" in a game of "Screw, Dump, Marry" in Chapter 12. Then, in Book 2, Chapter 5, Quinn can flirt with Gigi and sway her over to their side. Given that several Choices stories have certain characters Promoted to Love Interest in the sequels, it may well happen here.

Jossed with Gigi since she introduces her boyfriend in Book 2 Chapter 8, though she does offer a premium choice threesome.

Sadie is at least partly responsible for Martin's Face–Heel Turn
At the end of Book 1, Sadie was ousted from her own law firm, and Martin became the new senior partner after he bribed Sadie into signing an NDA so the firm didn't go under. Two things of note; one, Sadie promised she would get back at Quinn (telling them that "If I go down, I'm Taking You with Me"), and two, Martin is both highly ambitious and jealous of Quinn (especially if they outperform him in the rankings in Book 1). Sadie might have agreed to the NDA (even being made aware that Martin would get her senior partnership), but only if he got rid of Quinn. Martin, being who he is, happily agreed, explaining why he has it out for Quinn, and why he threatened to have Quinn fired at the end of Book 2, Chapter 3 for "making a fool of him" despite Quinn doing a better job than any of the other partners.

We will have the option to recruit Beau and (eventually) Joaquin to our new firm
In Book 2, Chapter 7, Beau expresses joy at seeing Quinn again, saying that he's been trying to contact them for weeks. Joaquin, despite being on Martin's side (for now) gives Quinn a heads up about the conservatorship case and apologises for his earlier behavior if Quinn is nice to him. Given Pixelberry's penchant for charming former antagonists over to our side, it's likely that we will be able to do the same here (though Beau will likely come before Joaquin, given the latter's loyalty to Martin)
  • Update: As of Chapter 11, the and just became an or, because there is only one slot left, and all the other slots are filled by other MB defectors.
    • Confirmed on Beau. He defects to our firm in Book 2 Chapter 14.

Martin was Eli’s hand pick in terms of joining the firm
From the way Byrne is letting Martin make a lot of decisions, and how Gabe mentioned in book 1 he was the one who brought Quinn up to Sadie about joining the firm and that they all had their favorites, Martin was most likely Byrne’s.

Hank Lovell's "suicide" wasn't a suicide at all
Think about it. In Book 2, Chapter 12, Hank had intel that could blow the whole conservatorship scheme wide open and planned to send Quinn the details, then allegedly committed suicide by jumping out of a skyscraper that night. A few chapters earlier, Hank met Quinn and made it clear he was being watched in some capacity. Who's to say that person didn't find out about Hank's plan and throw him out of the window while making it look like a suicide? It's clear by this point that the conservatorship scheme goes high up, and the people involved do not want anyone catching wind of it.

Confirmed, Hank was murdered on the orders of Calvin Colby, the mastermind of the conservatorship scheme.
