Oran marrying Keaton is canon
Keaton's marriage path in Prodigal, is probably the easiest, she and Oran were childhood friends, Pa mentions how he wants Oran to marry her, and even Bolivar thinks there's some romance between them. These all hint towards Keaton being Oran's canonical wife. We know for certain that he doesn't marry Caroline, since Curse Crackers: For Whom The Belle Toils reveals that she married Hugh, and it's unlikely that he married River since she seems to be on her own in the upcoming game Howling Crown.
  • Another hint comes in one of the trailers for Veritus, where Oran is seen following someone who looks like a smaller version of him but with red hair.

Myna is Oran's child
In Curse Crackers: For Whom The Belle Toils, one conversation that can be witnessed between Caroline and Ema is at the Hearth Inn, where Ema says she prefers Keaton's place because she likes her food better and gets to play with someone called Myna. Several signs in Prodigal point towards Keaton being Oran's canon wife, much like how Curse Crackers reveals that Caroline is Hugh's canon wife, and the last shot of the "Hero's Rest" ending as well as a tweet on Zaegul's Character Blog reveal that Oran has at least one child in the future. Not only that, but "Myna" sounds a lot like "Miner", further hinting at their connection.

Oran's child is the Hero's next incarnation
In the Enlightenment dungeon in Prodigal, there are secret rooms with books that talk about the past incarnations of Torran the Hero, revealing that he changed race and gender across his lives. Putting his soul back in his armor will have him say that he'll return when needed, and the end of the scene after that shows what is implied to be Oran's child - what if he reincarnated as that child?

Oran was the shadow-clad assassin
The end of Prodigal tells us that the King of Ashford was killed by an assassin clothed in shadow, and that his death led to Revulan taking over the kingdom. It also tells us that Oran travelled south in order to fulfil his contract with Crocodile, who is working with Revulan, and he is associated with shadows, both through Shadow Oran and the Dread Hand, which is a part of Veritus, the shadow god. Therefore, it's very likely that Oran had to assassinate the king as part of the contract. Revulan at one point even brings the contract up and says that she'll have him get another crown for her.

Oran was NOT the assassin
The hints seem a bit too obvious, so it's also likely that it could turn out that the contract was for something else instead, supported by the trailer for Veritus showing someone who does not look at all like Oran coming for the king. It has been started that there are two Dread Hands, so if the assassin was someone else, maybe they had the other Hand. Alternatively, the contract could have indeed involved the king's assassination, but Oran merely assisted the actual killer by using his Hand.

Crocodile orchestrated the events leading to the contract
Isn't it a bit odd that after wounding Kir Hasa, Crocodile had that contract ready for Oran to sign? And that he didn't mind losing the Ora Moa, which he kept heavily guarded in the back room while he had a fake on display? If you gain access to the VIP lounge, you meet Aura, someone who has known him for a while and is said to have visions of the future. She might have told Crocodile about Oran and how powerful he would become, and that he would one day try to take the Ora Moa from him, leading to him attacking anyone else who tried to steal it. In fact, he might have even stolen it in the first place knowing that Kir Hasa would try to get it first, and then wounded her to make her desperate enough to ask Oran to get it for her instead.
  • It's possible that Crocodile also hid the Dread Hand in the Boneyard so that Oran would get it. He is the one who gave him the key to the Castle Vann Crypt where the Eye of Veritus was being kept, and that was much more heavily guarded than the Hand, which was found in an ordinary chest. Given that Crocodile has collected many different artifacts, who's to say he didn't acquire the Dread Hand at one point? Some lore in the VIP lounge also says that the parts of Veritus were spread out far away from each other, but the Boneyard and the Castle Crypt are quite close, giving further evidence for the Hand being moved.

Tara is Hugh's mother
Tara's sidequest has her ask you to get some birth records for her, but she never specifies who or what they're for. It's also shown during her marriage quest that she was previously married, and at one point can be seen standing at what is presumably her late husband's grave; examining the grave yourself says you can make out the name "Parish", which is Hugh's surname. Also, Tara gives Hugh the money that she asked you for after learning that he wants to help fix the church because that's where he was raised - maybe she did so as a thanks to Xavier for looking after her son? The "Hero's Rest" ending also suggests that she's been keeping an eye on Hugh even after leaving Vann's Point, and the developers have said that having her as a romance option for him would be very awkward for reasons that are hinted at in the game, and that she has no romantic feelings for him.
  • If this is true, then that means Tara's a lot older than she looks. But then again, so is Crocodile.
  • Confirmed by the post-game ending if you marry Tara in Prodigal.

About Belle's mother
Not much is known about Belle's mother, but it's possible that she might be Alexa Tones, who in Curse Crackers is shown to have a Wanted poster in Grevenfel. Belle mentions not having a good relationship with her, and in the post-game ending Sir Toan tells her not to make the same mistake as her mother when she threatens to fight the Knights in order to rescue Bonnie. Also, after the fight with Ursyla, Belle is given a letter signed "AT", which has a picture of a symbol related to an event called the Dawn that Belle seems to recognise.
  • It's also possible that Belle's mother might be the masked jester at the Dawn Carnival, and the one who was leaving the tickets for Belle to find. The messages left with most of the tickets are quite personal, and at the end of the battle that comes as a reward for collecting them all, she knocks out Belle in a similar way to how she was knocked out after the fight with Ursyla, implying that she was the one responsible. The mailbox afterwards contains another letter signed "AT", and she also talks about the Dawn.
  • Alexa's poster in Grevenfel also mentions that one of the things she's wanted for is "conspiracy", which could tie in with her talking about the Dawn.
  • The creators have confirmed that the jester is Alexa Tones, so now all that's needed is confirmation that she's Belle's mother.

Chime is a Magic Eater
It's mentioned that Magic Eaters were seen as a threat and hunted to the point where there are barely any left. Belle became friends with Chime after looking after him while he was injured - perhaps that could have been from a hunting attempt? At the end of the main story of Curse Crackers, Chime is also able to eat an entire meteor that was said to have been enchanted to not miss its target even if it got broken into pieces; it's possible that doing so negated this effect. Also, Astrid initially thinks that Belle was the one who petrified her after being freed, mentioning that she has Chime with her. The people at the Dawn Carnival also call him an "abomination" and claim that the jack-in-the-box that they're making Belle fight is the same kind of thing he is - maybe all Magic Eaters take the form of sentient objects?
  • Chime could also be the reason why Belle's Malice seed hasn't bloomed yet despite her house supposedly containing a lot of Malice - he might be eating all the Malice within Belle as long as he's around her, preventing the seed from growing and transforming her into a Malevolent.

None of the Scales are truly dead
All of the Scales except Colorgrave supposedly died in the war (and many people also believe Colorgrave herself is dead), but it's shown that Blindgaze and Lorebright are still alive, and Oathbind can be brought back since she wasn't killed so much as split into many blades. It wouldn't be surprising if Cradleforge, Mournless, and Hearthlove were also still alive but hidden, especially since Lorebright is strongly hinted to be the one narrating the opening of Curse Crackers and may be an Unreliable Narrator, especially since she seems to paint Colorgrave in a more negative light than Prodigal does (though Colorgrave could also be unreliable).

Bonnie will be made a Reaper
She's shown to be (reluctantly) cooperative with the Knights in the postgame ending, which already puts her a cut above the typical criminals they arrest, and it's established that becoming a Reaper is considered a form of "community service" in lieu of serving a sentence in Hyrain. Plus, it's strongly suggested that her mother was a Reaper, and she already has a scythe...
  • It's likely that Sigrid, who seems to be the most important of the Titled, will make an offer with Bonnie that might involve becoming a Reaper. In Prodigal, there's a book in the Colorless Void that mentions a "Light Mage" who is still alive and interested in a young and powerful Mage - those could possibly be Sigrid and Bonnie, repsectively.
