  • Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: "Fight to Win" has two cases:
    • The mispronounciation of Ryu's name is a starter. note  There was also the addition of having him shout "Shoryuken!" while the subtitles read "Hadouken!" while performing the move Tatsumaki Sepyukyaku.
    • Panda is referred to as a he, but she's actually a girl and it was never a case of Samus Is a Girl in the original series either.
  • Early-Bird Release: The song for their first video, "My Balls", was released on iTunes nearly a month before the music video debuted on their channel.
    • Their comeback video, "Orphan Tears Part 2", was released on May 31st, 2022, a day ahead of the announced release date of June 1st.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Sometime in 2015, eleven music videos were removed from the channel for unknown reasons, though duplicates of all the videos could be easily found across YouTube. However, this was rectified in late 2021 when the channel surprisingly reuploaded all of them.
  • The Other Darrin: While Jesse Cale sings as Benatar in all the songs, Ray William Johnson voices him in the Band Toon.
    • Stefan Johnson was cast as the new voice of Deejay in 2022, starting with "This Is Why I'm Single".
    • Due to Jesse Cale being unavailable at the time, "Telescope" has Ethan C. fill in for him as Benatar.
  • Screwed by the Network: The reason why the channel stopped uploading content after less than two years of its existence, despite being the most popular music channel on YouTube for a while. A dispute between Ray William Johnson and his network at the time, Maker Studios, which centered around the ownership and ad revenue of his flagship show =3, left this channel in limbo, as Maker fully owned the rights to Your Favorite Martian. They refused to let Ray make anything under the band without their involvement, so the funding for the band's planned album was completely cut, and it led to Ray announcing the project's retirement in November 2012.
  • Un-Cancelled: Almost 10 years after the project's cancellation, Ray managed to acquire the rights to Your Favorite Martian from Maker, reviving the band in 2022.
