  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: This episode in its original form was only ever released on VHS in the United Kingdom. Elsewhere, it was never released on VHS or DVD — although most of the action actually did find its way onto the videos, just in different episodes. This is because when George Lucas re-edited the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles episodes to form the sequence of TV movies that is The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones in the late 1990s, he split this one (which already was a TV movie) up — the Corey Carrier part became the first part of My First Adventure, and the Sean Patrick Flanery part became the second part of Spring Break Adventure. And, of course, the Old Indy bookend scenes were cut.
  • Re-Cut: See above...
  • Referenced by...: In Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Indy tells Mutt that he once rode with Pancho Villa, referencing the events of the Sean Patrick Flanery part of this episode.
  • You Look Familiar: Vic Tablian, who played Demetrios in both the 1908 and 1916 segments, had previously appeared in Raiders of the Lost Ark in which he played two characters — Barranca (the guide who pulls a gun on Indy in the first scene) and the one-eyed Monkey Man.
