• Creator Backlash:
  • Marc Summers does not look back on What Would You Do? with much fondness. He thought the show had no identity, and he hated working with Woody Fraser. In particular, he cited the monster truck episode where he legitimately thought the truck he rode in was going to flip backwards and kill him.
  • Robin reportedly didn't like doing this show either, though a pay dispute was reportedly why she didn't return for the second season.
• Edited for Syndication: The promotional consideration plugs before the credits were updated yearly, advertising things that didn't exist earlier in the 90s. This practice stopped when reruns moved to Nick GaS.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Never saw a home entertainment release, one of the first shows to be removed from the GaS lineup, and it can't be found on any streaming service. Fan recordings account for roughly half of the series.
• Screwed by the Lawyers: Cross-ownership issues between Nickelodeon and Fremantle (who assumed ownership of Reeves Entertainment Group) may be a reason why the show hasn't been reran since 2002.
• Similarly Named Works: ABC runs a prime time series, also called What Would You Do?.
