Trivia / Tremors 5: Bloodlines

• Channel Hop: Though the film was still released by Universal Studios, this is the first movie in the series filmed by Universal 1440 Entertainment as opposed to Stampede Entertainment, the original creators of the series.
• Disowned Adaptation: S.S. Wilson expressed disdain for the film, noting that "there was a whole list of things [he] felt were wrong with it." His attitude towards the movie was not helped by the fact that Universal refused to have him involved and lied about their reasons for doing so.
• What Could Have Been: Early drafts of the Tremors 5: Bloodlines script placed it in Australia instead of Africa. Michael Gross was going to act opposite an Expy of the titular character from "Crocodile" Dundee.
