• Romance on the Set: There was one between Robert Wagner and Barbara Stanwyck. Due to their over 20 year age gap, studio executives freaked out and made up a story that he was engaged to actress Terry Moore ^note not the male comic book writer (and without telling Wagner about the story at that).
• Dawson Casting: 14-year-old Harper Carter portrays 10-year-old Norman Sturges.
• Uncredited Role: Even though Harper Carter portrays one of the major characters in the film, his role was left uncredited.
