• Acting for Two: Game and Mr. Glitch share a voice actor. This is no coincidence, since they come from the same source code. The Creator also is played by the same man, although that has less plot relevance, Although the fact they're all Pascal Cammisotto, the founder of Draw Me A Pixel and primary developer for the game itself might have something to do with that.
• Reality Subtext: Part of the plot was that Game had to be abandoned because the creator's Crowdfunding campaign failed, and he needed to rip GiGi from the game, and send her to a Geolocation game, to make ends meet. Presumably, this was inspired by this non-game's Kickstarter failure (though Draw Me A Pixel did end up completing the non-game with much difficulty. as well as a government grant program).
