Trivia / The Twilight Zone (1959) S3E9: "Deaths-Head Revisited"

• California Doubling: The episode was very obviously filmed on an American farmstead rather than the actual Dachau compound, as evidenced by the two-story barns standing in for the original single-story barrack buildings that were largely demolished by the US Army shortly after the end of the war. The geography is off, too — Real Life Dachau is located in flat moorland, and the camp itself wasn't on top of a hill.
• Jews Playing Nazis: Oscar Beregi, who plays Lütze, was Jewish.
• You Look Familiar: Oscar Beregi, Joseph Schildkraut, and Ben Wright all appeared in other The Twilight Zone (1959) episodes.
