Trivia / The Transformers - Megatron: Origins

• Edited for Syndication: The Japanese trade collection changed some of the details on Cy-Kill's cameo, I.E. recoloring his torso blue, due to Machine Robo (where the toys and designs for GoBots originated) still being owned by Bandai in Japan.
• What Could Have Been:
  • This was originally intended to be part of Dreamwave's Transformers comics as a companion piece to the Optimus-centric Transformers: The War Within but the company's bankruptcy saw it lay dormant until IDW ran with it.
  • The series was originally planned to be six issues, rather than four, and also feature a character who would have been a political mentor to Megatron. Years later, James Roberts in More Than Meets The Eye took the mentor concept and created the character of Terminus, who he retconned in to Megatron's past right before the start this story.
