• Approval of God: The band loved "Gump," "Weird Al" Yankovic's Forrest Gump-themed parody of "Lump," so much that in subsequent live performances of their song, they'd end with his version of the last lyric ("And that's all I have to say about that") rather than "Is this Lump out of my head?" They'd later hire him to direct their video for "Mixed Up SOB."
• Creative Differences: What killed their collaboration with Sir Mix-A-Lot.
• One-Hit Wonder: "Peaches" is their only entry on the Hot 100, but clearly far from their only famous song.
• Throw It In!: At the end of the "Mach 5" Performance Video, we see The Stinger where the band perform on the street to an uncaring public, and a policeman approaches, presumably to order the band to stop. The policeman just happened to be attending the video shoot, and asked Chris Ballew if it would be funny if he made an appearance, to which Chris happily agreed.
