• Acting for Two: Mark Hamill plays both himself and his "cousin" Luke Skywalker.
• I Am Not Spock: Parodied. When Fozzie recognizes Luke Skywalker as Mark Hamill, Luke says that Mark is his cousin and goes outside to get him; moments later, Mark steps in wearing street clothes. At first this appears to be a Fake Twin Gambit, until Mark and Luke appear together in the closing.
• Reality Subtext: According to an interview with Hamill, the bit where he does impressions of Kermit & Fozzie and they don't recognize them was based on what happened when he first came in to audition for the show; Jim Henson asked if he had any special talents, and Mark replied by saying he did impressions, in Henson's voice, with Henson then asking "who do you do?"
