• All-Star Cast: Both in front of the camera and behind it.
• Creator Couple: "Star" was directed by Guy Ritchie and guest-starred his then-wife Madonna. Given that their marriage dissolved shortly after the short was released, it's been suspected that the premise of The Star getting completely humiliated in order to teach her a lesson was intentional on Ritchie's part.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: "The Follow" was not included in most versions of the DVD collection, and it was removed from the website. Rumor has it that this was due to contract issues with guest star Forest Whitaker.
• Technology Marches On: A scant few years after "Powder Keg" was made, the reporter might have been able to email his photos from a safehouse without having to smuggle the film across the border.
