  • Four films — 1983, 1992, 1993, and 2011.
  • Eight television series — 1978, 1984 (two different adaptations aired in this year), 1998, 2001, 2008, 2014, and 2020.
• Role Reprise: The 1993 movie, while considered a non-canon Spin-Off and Denser and Wackier in response to the Royal Tramp movies (it involves time travel), is still the only time Tony Leung Chiu Wai has returned to the role.
• What Could Have Been: Wei Xiaobao was originally conceived to be a conventional Wu Xia hero until Jin Yong decided against it.
