• Banned Episode: After the documentary Surviving R. Kelly came out in 2019, [adult swim] started skipping the episode during their regular rotation. Ironically, this happened when Huey's "The Reason You Suck" Speech towards R. Kelly and everyone dancing in court after R. Kelly is found innocent went viral online. As of 2020, it has returned to rotation and HBO Max has the episode uncut and uncensored.
• Deleted Scene: Rosa Parks was meant to make an appearance in the episode, having a chicken leg hurled at her by the fat female R. Kelly defender. It was cut from the episode since Rosa Parks actually passed away before it aired. However, you can actually see Sister Rosa walking peacefully in the background during the ending, then being hugged by the woman who slugged her.
• Life Imitates Art:
  • R. Kelly wins his trial in spite of the overwhelming evidence against him. Three years after the episode aired, R. Kelly was acquitted of all charges in his trial.
  • But this was averted in 2021, when he was tried and convicted on nine federal charges in the Eastern District of New York. In June 2022, he was sentenced to 30 years in prison. He is currently facing another federal trial in Chicago, and state trials in Illinois and Minnesota.
