- Line to God: The staff have at least three social media accounts where they release information regarding updates, trailers, etc. The staff will sometimes answer questions or address concerns through these accounts.
- Series Hiatus: The staff took a two month hiatus from July 17th to September 15th
. During this time they prepared multiple chapters in advance, so as to implement a more consistent release schedule. - Word of God: The staff would periodically publish character AMAs (Ask Me Anything), lore posts and an assortment of other trivia to one or more of their social media accounts.
- Write What You Know: Serena, the project manager and head writer, went to a private school full of rich kids herself. Much of what she experienced during her time there influenced the setting and characters of Sweet Elite.
- Write Who You Know: Tadashi is heavily based off of Serena's boyfriend.
