• Sequel Gap: Was released 7 years after the previous movie, Stand by Me Doraemon.
• The Other Darrin: Both downplayed and mixed with The Original Darrin in the European Spanish dub where adult Nobita is now voiced by Juan Martín Goirizelaia (who already voiced him a few times in the series itself) and adult Shizuka is voiced by Sonia Torrecilla (her regular VA) rather than Celebrity Voice Actor couple Mario Vaquerizo and Alaska, respectively.
