• Blooper: Throughout "Captain Pipsqueak", Karen's hands are gray like her arms instead of blue like her monitor.
• The Other Darrin: Clancy Brown voices Dennis in "Captain Pipsqueak" instead of Alec Baldwin, who first played him in The Spongebob Squarepants Movie, or Fred Tatasciore, who voiced him in The SpongeBob Movie Game. Ironically, Brown is also the voice of Mr. Krabs, whose death Dennis was trying to facilitate in the movie by killing SpongeBob and Patrick.
  • Additionally, Sticky Fins Whiting, Dorsal Dan, and Gordon are voiced by Tom Kenny, Rodger Bumpass, and also Clancy Brown respectively, instead of their guest stars in their initial appearances.
• Recycled Script: "Plane to Sea" is quite similar to "Good Ol' Whatshisname" as both involve Squidward thinking he's won a vacation and going through misery to try and get it, only for there to be a twist ending revealing that he didn't actually win a free vacation after all. Additionally, the plot has bits of "Squid's on a Bus" and "Jolly Lodgers" thrown in to the mix, as they involve SpongeBob and Patrick bothering Squidward, causing most of said misery, and at least one of or all three of them getting into some sort of peril.
