• First Appearance: Of Mayor McDaniels, her aides Ted and Johnson, Jimbo Kern, and Kevin Stoley.
• The Other Marty: As with "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe", Karri Turner originally voiced the episode's female characters, but her voice track was replaced by one performed by Mary Kay Bergman. Turner's voicing of the adult Kathie Lee Gifford was retained, however, as Gifford only had a small handful of lines (all but one of which were muffled by the glass tube she was in), and it wasn't considered to be worth the time to have Bergman redo them.
• Time-Shifted Actor: Kathie Lee Gifford is voiced by Mary Kay Bergman as a child and Karri Turner as an adult.
• Out of Order: Despite being the second episode of the series in production order, it was the third episode to air, and is also the third episode listed in most VHS and early DVD releases of the show, as well as the Hulu and HBO Max releases.
