  • In his "Animals in Space" video, you can faintly hear Sam stifle a laugh when describing how Albert V "liquified on impact" thanks to his faulty parachute.
• Follow the Leader: Sam's presence and style of videos was sorely missed due to his very frequent and long hiatuses, with only two videos of his being uploaded in the span of 2021 to 2023 - as such, a lot of other similiar styled 'stickfigure talking about unusual educational topics' channels began popping up as sort of spiritual sequels.
• Missing Episode:
  • Sam took down his Sigmund Freud video due to disliking the infamous eel joke (where he says the N-word), namely given how his channel has since strayed as far away from its type of humor as possible and the emergence of discussions on race relations at the time.
  • Earlier in his career, Sam made a video on the Crimean war. However, he took it down shortly after it was uploaded due to Russian viewers telling him that he was presenting information that was biased against them.
• Schedule Slip: Sam went on a hiatus in January 2020. It was explained in a tweet, which stated that he was caught up with school and other activities, and it can be assumed that the COVID-19 pandemic also affected his work. Many fans have jokingly claimed that 2020 got worse because he stopped uploading. He revealed a year later that he was currently looking for topics to research, making fans hopeful. The research culminated on October 3rd, 2022, when he returned to Twitter simply saying, "k im back." This was immediately preceded by him posting the video "Where Animals' Scientific Names Come From" on YouTube.
