• Approval of God: Can't get any better than Rooster Teeth trying to scout you. They were greatly impressed by Zhang's work and tried to hire him, but Zhang had to turn them down due to the costs of moving to Texas. That said, he would be eventually hired to work on fight animations for DEATH BATTLE! before ScrewAttack became a Rooster Teeth subsidiary.
• Descended Creator: Mark Zhang plans to voice Brandon Charbonneau, the first character he created and the focal point of the Charcoal Trailer.
• Promoted Fanboy: Downplayed. While Zhang wasn't officially hired by RT, he is working as a fight animator at ScrewAttack.
• Saved from Development Hell: Given that Zhang animates them by himself, the trailers tend to have long development times. The time it usually took for Zhang to create a new trailer was generally between 5-6 months. However, the Regalia trailer was released two years after Linen.
• What Could Have Been: Simin Megistus of the Silver trailer was originally designed to have a Semblance that made whatever he touched harder to break. By the time of Regalia's release, it was changed to being an aspect of his weapon. As a result, Simin's a Badass Normal leading the team.
