  • Kids' Meal Toy:
    • In 1995, The Busy World of Richard Scarry had a set of four Happy Meal toys from McDonald's. These consisted of buildings and vehicles, each one having one of the show's characters; These consisted of Huckle Cat and a school, Lowly Worm and a post office, Mr. Frumble and a fire station, and Bananas Gorilla and a grocery store.
    • Also in 1995, Busy World had a set of four bath toys from Dairy Queen. There was Huckle Cat in a submarine, Lowly Worm in a speedboat, Mr. Frumble in a tugboat, and Sergeant Murphy in a patrol boat.

    • Arthur: In "Attack of the Turbo Tibbles", while D.W. goes to get her mother to help fix the Mary Moo Cow tape she, Tommy and Timmy were watching earlier, the Tibble Twins switch through the television channels to find something to watch. One of the shows they find is a parody of The Busy World of Richard Scarry where Huckle and Lowly are bats sleeping on a ceiling. Timmy claims the show to be "Too busy and not scary". Both Busy World and Arthur were produced by Cookie Jar Entertainment, known as Cinar back when the episode originally aired.
    • Robot Chicken: A sketch from "Shall I Visit the Dinosaurs?" has a car wreck happening in Busytown as a result of everyone being too busy to watch where they're going.
