Trivia / Puyo Puyo Fever 2

• Acclaimed Flop: Fever 2 is well regarded for adding gameplay features and a surprisingly large amount of story content. Unfortunately for its fans, it bombed Sega's sales expectations, with current producer Mizuki Hosoyamada confirming that its failure is exactly why he was placed in charge of the series.
• Fan Translation: There does exist an English translation patch for the PlayStation 2 version of the game... but to this day, it's still in an incomplete state (a lot of the menu dialogues are left un-translated outside of key text elements). Supposedly, this is due to the draconian way Sonic Team coded the game and how it runs it checksums... and the fact that it runs in Adobe Flash of all things doesn't help matters either.
• First Appearance: This is the first game to feature series mainstays Sig, Lemres, and Feli.
• Working Title: Internally known as Puyo Puyo 6 during development.
