- Keep Circulating the Tapes: The original Everyday Cute comics have been taken off the Internet, with only some content saved to its Tumblr and the Pusheen site. It's now only readable on the Wayback Machine.
- Missing Episode: Most of Everyday Cute no longer exists on the Internet, save for a few posted to the official Pusheen site in the early days, and even then only 2 of those posts are actual comic strips. The only way to read the actual series is via the Internet Archive.
- Referenced by...: In Turning Red, Mei's plush Wilfred is based on Pugsheen. This is a slight anachronism, as the movie is set in 2002, before Pusheen existed as a franchise.
- Tribute to Fido: Pusheen and Stormy are based on real cats the authors have owned.
