Trivia / Police Quest 2: The Vengeance

• Multi-Disc Work: Police Quest II: The Vengeance is on three 3½'' disks or six 5¼'' disks.
• No Export for You: Actually averted and inverted for PQ2. There is a very rare Japanese release for PC-98 (that works in ScummVM!), playable in either English or Japanese or with subtitles, and with a fully functional Japanese parser!
• Urban Legend of Zelda: For a long time, the Wikipedia page for Police Quest II: The Vengeance mentioned an alternate ending where if Bonds kills Bains before the latter even shoots, he would've been fired for "acting recklessly". No such ending ever was ever made.
• Write What You Know: The plot of PQII is based on Jim Walls own experience as a policeman with the California Highway Patrol when he tracked down a crook who kept evading arrest.
