• Flashback with the Other Darrin: Inevitable with TPCI having replaced the entire main cast after Advanced Battle and a few of the actors having retired, moved out of state or died. Averted with Koga who is reprised by Stan Hart.
• Role Reprise: Stan Hart came back to do Koga in the dub.
• The Other Darrin: Tom Wayland and Eli James replace Eric Stuart and the late Maddie Blaustein as Charmander and Damien respectively
