  • The Body Farm has nothing to do with the BBC crime drama series of the same name (itself a spin-off from Waking the Dead).
  • Predator has nothing to do with the movie.
  • Narrowly averted with Hornet's Nest, which is not to be confused with The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest, the third book of Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy.
• Spin-Off Cookbook: Given Kay Scarpetta's reputation as a Supreme Chef, it is perhaps unsurprising that Cornwell has written one of these. Food to Die For: Secrets from Kay Scarpetta's Kitchen was published in 2002. A few years before that, there was Scarpetta's Winter Table, a novella which had separate pages detailing each of the recipes prepared in the story (of which there were quite a few).
