  • Blitzo and Stella being childhood friends was originally a suggestion made by WarwolfPrime.
  • Fox_number_1360's "Impish King" fanart was also adapted into the fic, with Stolas finding a photo of the event at Blitzo and Octavia's apartment.
• Creator Backlash: In Chapter 52, the author admits they regret having Baron Wastes survive being shot in the eye during his second encounter with Blitzo, feeling that the character had served his purpose as a small cog in the greater mystery of Octavia and that it was the most fitting end for him. They're still determined to keep the character around until they can find a proper way to kill him, but believes he has served his purpose by Octavia
• Outdated by Canon: The fic features several common Hellaverse fandom assumptions that have since been disproven in canon, particularly with the release of Hazbin Hotel as a series. These include God being present in Heaven; Lucifer being much more ambitious, prideful, ruthless, wrathful and engaged in Hell's politics, with his "rebellion" that got him cast into Hell consisting of the archetypal full-scale civil war in Heaven; demons like Stolas, Asmodeus and others fearing repercussions for disrespecting demons higher-ranking than themselves instead of the rank-and-file easily getting away with cussing Sins including Lucifer to their faces; and the Exorcists' exterminations of Hell's populace being known to such angels as C.H.E.R.U.B. instead of it being a government conspiracy among the Exorcists and Sera.
