• Deleted Scene:
  • One showing Cruella forcing Henry to send that video message to Emma and Regina. There's also some Foreshadowing when she says that he isn't the one she intends to hurt.
  • Another showing Rumple and Isaac spying on the Charmings through a crystal ball. This also sets up and explains the magical conch shells Ursula left behind that Rumple uses to fool them later.
• Fake Brit:
  • Anna Galvin is Australian, doing an English accent to play Cruella's mother Madeleine.
  • The young Cruella is played by Canadian actress Milli Wilkinson.
• Hey, It's That Place!: The Casa Mia mansion, which is used for Madeleine's house, has appeared in Psych, Supernatural, Arrow, Lucifer and Series/iZombie.
• Never Work with Children or Animals: They had to use CGI to make it so that the dalmatians looked like they were snarling at Henry, Cruella and Madeleine in their respective scenes. Their growling was also digitally added in.
• Prop Recycling: The dress Cruella wears in the club was also worn in The Artist.
• Throw It In!: A small detail was added in during filming; as Cruella leaves the club and puts the napkin in Isaac's pocket, the box with his quill is open. Seconds later, when he's holding the napkin in his hands, the box is closed. This indicates that Cruella stole the quill then.
• What Could Have Been: A very early draft of the script had Cruella and her mother as a team of dog psychics.
• You Look Familiar: Milli Wilkinson had previously played Alice's daughter in the finale of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.
