• Fake Nationality: Argentina-born and French-raised actress Bérénice Bejo as the Egyptian Larmina.
• Faux Fluency: In the scene in which 117 sings an Arabic cover of "Bambino", Jean Dujardin had to phonetically learn the lyrics and it shows.
