Trivia / Mick Jagger

• Uncredited Role: He sang uncredited backing vocals on Carly Simon's Signature Song "You're So Vain". The song was rumored to be about Jagger himself (although Simon herself denied this).
• What Could Have Been:
  • He was approached to play Feyd Ruatha in Alejandro Jodorowsky's adaptation of Dune. Unfortunately, Jodorowsky's plans fell through, and the role ultimately went to Sting instead.
  • Was the original frontrunner to play Freddy Benson in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, alongside David Bowie as Lawrence Jamieson^note After their 1985 "Dancing in the Street" collaboration, many studios were interested in putting Bowie and Jagger in a movie together.. They had to bow out of the film due to other commitments, a decision both men regretted later.
    David Bowie: We were a bit tweezed that we lost out on a script that could have been reasonably good.
• Mick Jagger speaks French pretty well and owns the Château de la Fourchette in France.
