- Market-Based Title: In a sense. Most of Medabots games are named after the titular character's medals: Kabuto and Kuwagata, but were renamed as "Metabee" and "Rokusho" due to being launched when the anime aired in order to help people find the game more easily.
- Recycled Script: The "children disappearing" plot happens three times in the game.
- Remade for the Export: This remake almost certainly happened to give international fans a taste of the mainline Medarot games. Not-so-coincidentally, the character art is heavily based on the anime (which was exported first) and the international versions use the dub's theme song as the title screen BGM.
- Short Run in Peru: The games first released in Europe. While Japanese gamers could buy the Kabuto version before North American gamers thanks to a mail-in program, the Japanese Kuwagata version (and a widespread retail release) didn't happen until shortly after the game was in North American stores.
