• Fake Brit:
  • American actors Jon Daly and Wendi McLendon-Covey voice King Rufus and Queen Eleanor with British accents (subverted for the latter in the UK version).
  • Chilean born American actor Horatio Sanz voices Allistair with a British accent.
  • This is averted with Frederick in the pilot since he was voiced by American voice actor Christopher Corey-Smith there.
• Invisible Advertising: The mini-series received little advertising, with commercials mentioning the event only beginning to air the week before. Most on-air advertising was focused on Regular Show: The Movie, which was to make its own premiere days earlier.
• The Other Darrin:
  • In the pilot, Peter and Frederick are voiced by Jeremy Redleaf and Christopher Corey-Smith. In the miniseries, they are voiced by Kieran Culkin and Peter Serafinowicz.
  • In the UK version, Queen Eleanor is voiced by Jane Harrocks instead of Wendi McLendon-Covey.
