• Dueling Games: The story goes that once Sierra saw that Myst had overtaken King's Quest V as the best selling PC game, Ken Williams called Jon Bock into his office, showed him a copy of Myst, and asked him, "Can you make this?" Bock accepted, and Lighthouse was the result. Given what happened to Sierra in the following years, it didn't fare that well, especially when Riven came out in 1998.
• Genius Bonus: Jeremiah's journal begins with an entry inspiring his research project, that speaks of the Godel Universe model.
• Updated Re-release: The game is now on GOG.com, and thanks to ScummVM, its cutscenes lack the interlacing its original 2-CD port used for compression.
