Trivia / Last Year: The Nightmare

• Development Hell: Thanks to several bad business decisions on the part of the devs (bad marketing and communication with fans, a limited release on discord as opposed to steam or epic games, and gameplay and balancing issues) the game itself went belly up which resulted in the servers being shut down, the game being pulled from sale on both steam and discord, and Elastic Games (the company responsible for producing last year) going bankrupt. However, the devs reincorporated as Undaunted Games and relaunched Last Year on Steam as a free-to-play game on May 4, 2023.
