• Outdated by Canon: In The Karma of Lies (released in 2021, in the middle of Season 4 of the show), the story doesn't states why Marinette couldn't use a Miraculous to fix things and just had said that she cannot, but the show eventually had Tikki tell Marinette in Risk (Shadow Moth's Final Attack, Part 1) (released in 2022, at the end of Season 4) her powers can only be used to fight villains or stop disasters and can't be used for personal uses without backfiring horrifically (with the implication that this is one of the big reasons Cat Blanc came to be and in this episode the backfire being Marinette teleporting Felix instead of Adrien, leading to Felix handing the Miracle Box to Shadow Moth). In chapter 11 of this tale (released in 2023), Marinette tries to bring up this exact point with the obvious implication that Mari believes using said powers to deal with Lila counts as "personal use", only to be shot down by the others pointing out that 1. Lila was definitely a villain and 2. letting her off with millions of Euros she could use to destroy innocent lives (as she just did with Marinette, ironically) is indeed a disaster.
