• Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: In an infamous video by Youtuber KonekoKitten, he calls Shift Lock "lockshift", and mistakes Citadel of Laptop Splitting for Citadel of Void, despite the tower portal clearly saying otherwise.

• Follow the Leader: The game's success has spawned quite a few fangames, as well as another similar game from the original creators called Tower of Hell succeeding the popularity of the original game, where you climb a randomly generated tower. Tower of Hell itself has spawned way more copies too.

• What Could Have Been: There are several towers that didn't make it into the game. The most famous of these is Citadel of Void, which was cut for being humanly impossible.
