• Missing Trailer Scene: At least few scenes from the trailer, such as Mr. Rochester and Jane talking about the ripped wedding veil and the scene where Mr. Rochester rides on the horse to find Jane didn't make to the final cut.
• Remake Cameo: Eglantine Rembauville-Nicolle, who portrays Celiné Varens, Adéle's mother, in 2006 version, portrayed Sophie, Adéle's nurse, in this version.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Elliot Page was considered to be the first choice to play as Jane, but he withdrew when the production was delayed. Mia Wasikowska was slated to be cast.
  • Lynne Ramsay was offered to direct this film, but turned down the offer.
