• Awesome Music: Awaken, the main theme of the film.
• Hollywood Homely: The film basically puts Mia Wasikowska in plain clothing with very little obvious makeup. She still looks luminous. Rochester is played by Michael Fassbender.
• Older Than They Think: The flashbacks used in this movie were first already featured in the 1952 version of Jane Eyre starring Katherine Bard and Kevin McCarthy.
